Blasting

Our team understands professional surface preparation is critical to the success of any paint system, so we offer a variety of blasting media and degreasing services to meet your needs. With three large blast booths and a horizontal Wheelabrator, we are able to provide the best process for your operation. Our largest blast booth is a self recovering pressurized blast system which minimizes waste and reduces environmental impact. Dimensionally it is 75’ long by 60’ wide and 30’ tall. Our current Wheelabrator is capable of handling material 6’ wide by 3’ tall.  We have many types of blasting media available including, but not limited to, steel grit, steel shot, green diamond, black diamond, garnet, and walnut shell. We process most types of metal including steel, stainless steel, iron, brass, aluminum and copper.

Painting

Specialty Finishes' main industrial paint booth is 158' long by 70' wide, and 60' tall. We have a spray area of over 11,000 square feet. Our team has a broad background in organic and inorganic zincs, polymers, glass flake, two-part epoxy systems, and other surface coating applications. Our three 52,000 CFM heated air make-up units are capable of maintaining our booth temperatures at 85 degrees above ambient during cold weather to guarantee your parts receive consistent results. Our painters are trained and equipped to use both air spray and airless equipment to ensure that all material, from industrial enamels to 100% solids epoxies, are applied to manufacturer specifications.
